Getting started
How do I book?
All booking runs through Playbypoint. Book online at book.thelabpb.com or in the Playbypoint app.
Do I need a membership to play?
No. Create a free account (Free Member, $0) and drop in for $18 a session, or buy a 10-pack for $150.
I'm visiting Miami. Can I play without a membership?
Yes. Create a free account and drop in for $18 a session, or get the 10-pack ($150, valid 60 days) for a longer stay.
I don't have a DUPR rating. Can I play?
Yes. Players without a DUPR rating attend our weekly club rating session first, so we can place you on the right court. Message the club to book your spot.
I'm new to pickleball. Where do I start?
Group clinics for beginners (under 3.0) are coming soon. In the meantime, you can book private coaching with Juan Carlos Saez, founder of The Lab and former professional pickleball player.
Do I need my own paddle?
No. Paddle rentals are available at the pro shop, and you can demo paddles from top brands too.
Schedule & levels
When is open play?
7 days a week. Open play runs Mon–Thu 6–9pm and Sat–Sun 9am–12pm, plus Friday Socials every Friday (times coming soon).
What levels do you run?
Courts are split by level: 3.0–3.6 and 3.7–4.4, plus a 4.5+ Challenge Court at every open play session. The 3.7–4.4 level and the Challenge Court require DUPR verification.
Membership & pricing
How much is membership?
Founding members pay $99 a month, limited to the first 50 members. After that, membership is $139 a month. Members play unlimited, 7 days a week, and Friday Socials are included.
How much is a drop-in?
$18 per session, with a free account (Free Member, $0).
What is the 10-pack?
10 open play sessions for $150 ($15 a session), valid for 60 days. It's for Free Members, so create your free account first.
Can I rent a court?
Yes. Court rentals are $25 and are booked through Playbypoint.
Coaching, programs & events
Do you offer private coaching?
Yes, with Juan Carlos Saez (JC), founder of The Lab and former professional pickleball player. Message JC on WhatsApp or by text to ask about availability.
Do you run clinics, leagues or tournaments?
They're coming soon: group clinics for beginners and intermediates, a DUPR Rated Ladder League, and tournaments at The Lab.
Can I host an event or tournament at The Lab?
Yes. We host birthday parties, team building and corporate events, and the club is available to rent for your own tournament. Send us an inquiry and we'll be in touch.

Is there parking?
Yes. Parking is free and on site.
Do you have a pro shop?
Yes. Our pro shop carries paddles from top brands like RPM and Joola.
Can I try a paddle before I buy?
Yes. Paddle demos from top brands are available, so you can try before you buy.
Can I get food or drinks?
Light snacks and drinks are available for purchase.
