What competitive Miami players want from a league

A good league is more than a weekly time slot. Competitive players usually look for:

• Level-matched games. Playing people near your level is what makes every game count.
• Verified levels. DUPR verification means the levels are real, not self-reported.
• Something to play for. Rankings, movement and a champion at the end.
• A fair format. Rotating partners and scoring that rewards consistency.

The Lab's DUPR Rated Ladder League (coming soon)

The Lab's league is coming soon. Dates and pricing haven't been announced yet. Here's the format from the leagues page:

• 4 players per court, seeded in week 1 by DUPR.
• Everyone partners with everyone, and games go to a hard 11.
• Points, not wins: players are ranked by the share of points won.
• 1 up, 1 down: each week the top finisher on each court moves up and the bottom finisher moves down.
• A champion on every court at the end of the season.

You don't have to wait for the league. Open play at The Lab is DUPR-verified, at three levels:

• 3.0–3.6
• 3.7–4.4
• 4.5+ Challenge Court, for the strongest players. Read what the Challenge Court is.

• Drop-in: $18 with a free account.
• Founding membership: $99/month for the first 50 members, then $139/month. Members play unlimited. See membership.
